Senior Staff Position
We are looking for a California licensed psychologist (PhD or PsyD), with a strong background in CBT and DBT (intensively trained or equivalent), with confirmed clinical skills and compassion, to work with sophisticated and educated clientele. Senior staff members see a full case-load, supervise externs and post-doctoral fellows, participate in consultation team, research, didactics, and conduct other collaborations with staff and students. Our clinical staff is vibrant and dedicated, regularly present at national and international conferences, teach for universities in Southern California, and engage in other scholarly activities. A background in ACT or CBASP is preferred as well, although training can be provided in these areas.

CBTC was founded by Lynn McFarr PhD. Dr. McFarr is the President-Elect of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy , Past Program Chair of the International Society of the Improvement and Teaching of Dialectical Behavior Therapy , Fellow of Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, Board Member of the International Association for Cognitive Psychotherapy, and Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, UCLA School of Medicine, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where she founded and directs the CBT and DBT Clinic.
